The perfect all-round cruising and touring boards.
The boards come with a displacement bow flowing into a flat gliding bottom with soft rails. This creates a long efficient water line offering a superior paddling sensation on flat water – all on a very stable platform.
We call them Cruisers but they are amazingly fast. Our shaper Werner Gnigler simply knows how to make things fast. Many will use them for racing as well.
Not limited to flat water cruising and racing, these boards are also great for open ocean cruises and races as they are so stable.
Catching surf easily the cruiser generates impressive speed gliding on the ocean swells. As soon as the swell backs off the displacement bow comes into play slicing through the water, reducing paddle efforts.
The boards are equipped with an array of inserts, truly multipurpose pieces of engineering. They come with a deck bungee to tie various things onto the board (refreshments, rain coat, six pack…), a FCS nose mount for all your GoPro moments and the fishing rod holder mounting option. They are perfect for flatwater and open ocean touring, racing or just paddling for fun – cruising.
And – yes you can also windsurf with them as they come with two inserts to attach a windsurfing rig. You will be surprised how early they get planing and how much fun it is to sail from A to B with them.

The all new Sportsters are a great compromise between our Race and Cruiser boards. You could also call them Freerace.
For most amateur racers they will be faster than full-on race boards as they are more stable and easier to handle than race boards. They work great in anything from really flat-water to slightly choppy conditions. They feel at home on lakes, rivers and the ocean.
This makes them perfect, fast touring boards, and great race boards for the recreational racers or the bigger guys.
Their increased width (compared to full-on race boards) makes them very stable even when it gets a bit rough or when you get tired. Based on race board designs they come with a low displacement piercing nose which cuts through the water like a knife.
Paddling is almost effortless and you feel the acceleration with every paddle stroke.
Their scoop rocker line is also based on the race concept assuring maximum waterline.
The thin hull ensures a low standing position, which allows you to transfer all the paddling power into a forward momentum. The rounded rails are forgiving, and do not get affected by sideways chop or wind.
They are perfect platforms for touring, really fast flat-water boards which can be used for racing and are great for core work out and fitness.
The new Sportsters are great boards for the ambitious flat-water paddler who wants the speed of a race board but enjoys slightly easier handling than those thoroughbred race boards.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CRUISER AND SPORTSTER
The Cruisers are super stable “all-water” boards which provide good speed. They work in anything from flat-water to really rough waters as well as for downwind tours where you want to take advantage and catch ocean swells.
The more racy Sportsters are also stable boards but are not as super stable as the Cruisers and have a bottom curve which is more aimed at flat-water paddling. This is why they are considerably faster in flat-water than the Cruisers.

ALLROUND RACE BOARDS
The second generation of JP Racing SUPs impresses with the ease of use and the outstanding speed on demand.
The biggest difference compared to the first generation is that they are so much more stable.
We kept the low rocker displacement bow concept, which cuts effortlessly through the water, avoiding exit drag therefore producing the most efficient board speed.
The overall thickness of the whole board was thinned out especially in the bow section. Therefore the center of gravity became lower which allows you to paddle more efficiently. Unnecessary board height sticking out of the water was eliminated. Wind and chop does not interfere with your paddling and no energy is wasted.
Throughout the mid-section the bottom radius is kept rather flat, complemented with a soft rounded rail. This guarantees stability and balance.
The sunk-in cockpit in the standing area lowers the riders standing position, providing more stability throughout every paddle stroke, resulting in outstanding acceleration and speed with minimal effort.
Openings in the cockpit ensure that any water which might flow over the deck of the board drains away immediately.
They are great and really fast flat water race boards. For advanced riders they are also very competitive open ocean racers.
A new G10 racing fin was developed for our Racing SUP. A thin profile with minimum drag in combination with a far raked back outline gives you the speed and stability you are looking for. Grass or other objects in the water do not slow you down since they just slide off the fin’s leading edge.
Available in 12’6″ and 14’0″ in Wood Sandwich and in Full Carbon Technology.
